Columbus police have identified the man shot and killed by officers Wednesday night on the southeast side.
Police say 18-year-old Tasjon Osbourne was a suspect in a parking dispute near Kings Realm Avenue and Gallant Drive, and a suspect in a vehicle crash into a Gallant Drive home. Police say shots had been fired, and a gun was recovered at the scene. They did not say if Osbourne was the driver or a passenger in the car that crashed. Sergeant Lee Hurst is identified as the officer who shot Osbourne. He is on paid leave.
