Two Hyatts Middle School Students Plead Guilty To Spiking Food Of Teachers

kval.com

Two of the eight Olentangy Hyatts Middle School students charged with contaminating their teachers' food with bodily fluids earlier this year have pleaded guilty.

The two 8th graders were sentenced Monday  to 30-days in juvenile detention, 100-hours of community service, and must accompany Delaware County Food Inspectors twice.  The teens will also have to write a letter of apology and undergo counseling. An attorney for some of the boys has said it was a prank.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
