A Columbus man who confessed on video to killing a motorist while driving under the influence has been granted early release from prison on a drunken driving charge.
The judge suspended the last five months of a nearly seven year sentenced handed down to 28-year-old Matthew Cordle, who pleaded guilty in the 2013 death of 61-year-old Vincent Canzani. Cordle made an online video promise to encourage others not to drink and drive.
