The owner of the former headquarters of the Newark-based Longaberger basket company has announced plans to turn the building into a luxury hotel.
Steve Coon opened up the building over the weekend for a fundraiser. He made the announcement last night. There is no price tag on the project, but he and his partners will seek state and federal tax breaks to help with the project, with a goal of beginning renovation work in 2020.
