Columbus Murder Suspect Arrested In West Virginia

The U.S. Marshals Service says a Columbus man wanted in connection with the 2017 shooting death of his girlfriend’s father was arrested Tuesday in Wheeling, West Virginia. 

Extradition is pending for 20-year-old Jordyn Preston, who failed to show up in court after his indictment. Preston is charged with killing 54-year-old Van Johnson at the victim's Ottawa Drive home following an argument.
