Police Investigating Data Breach At Columbus Metropolitan Library

Columbus police are investigating a data breach at the Columbus Metropolitan Library.

Police say the personal information of dozens of library employees  has been compromised. The information was used to set up accounts at Huntington Bank. Money was then deposited through payday loans then withdrawn with debit cards. The library says the breach does not affect its patrons.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
