Judge: Mt. Carmel's Parent Not Required To Pay Husel's Legal Fees
A judge has ruled the parent company of Mount Carmel Health System and its insurer don't have to cover the costs of a doctor's defense against murder charges in the deaths of 25 patients.
Trinity Health and the insurer argued the liability policy at issue in William Husel's lawsuit against them doesn't cover criminal defense expenses. Husel's attorney intends to appeal. Husel has pleaded not guilty.
