OSU Football Players Required To Sign COVID-19 Waiver

Returning Ohio State football players were asked to sign a coronavirus waiver before resuming their workouts.

Details of the so-called "Buckeye Pledge", obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, outline the risks involved with the workouts and other athletic activities and calls for the players to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.  OSU players began returning to campus June 8th and are currently allowed to undergo voluntary strength and conditioning training but no football drills.  A university spokesperson says the pledge is intended to be an educational document that all athletes have signed so far.
