Ohio University officials have placed a top administrator on leave following allegations of price-gouging hand sanitizer.

The Ohio Attorney General's office says Ellen Fultz and her husband made over 26-thousand dollars from the sale of nearly 600 bottles of sanitizer on Amazon during February and March for an average of 43-dollars per bottle.  Fultz is the school's Executive Director of Major Giving.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
