Woman Allegedly Shot And Wounded Two Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies

A woman who allegedly shot two Franklin County Sheriff's deputies and then hid inside her North Linden home was taken into custody Tuesday. 

Deputies were  trying to take the suspect into custody for a mental health evaluation when she allegedly opened fire at the home in the 2700 block of Beulah Road. Her name has not been released. The deputies were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

A native of Chicago, naturalized citizen of Cincinnati and resident of Columbus, Alison attended Earlham College and the Ohio State University. She has equal passion for Midwest history, hockey and Slavic poetry.
