State Board Suspends Two Nurses Who Worked With William Husel

Mount Carmel Health System

A state board has suspened the licenses of two nurses who worked with William Husel, the now former Mount Carmel doctor charged with murdering 25 people with fatal doses of painkillers.

The nurses are accused of not meeting care standards. An administrative hearing examiner concluded the nurses should’ve known the doses were harmful. The nurses say they relied on Husel’s expertise. Husel has pleaded not guilty.
