The former head of the Union County Humane Society is facing multiple charges related to the death of 18 dogs over the past several years.
Steffen Baldwin is being held on 250 thousand dollars bond on 42 counts of bribery, animal cruelty, and impersonating a police officer. Prosecutors say Baldwin attempted to bill himself as a reality-TV star and would take money from owners to change their dog's behavior and then kill the animals that didn't respond. He was arrested by U.S. Marshals in California.
