Ohio Getting Additional Unemployment Money From FEMA

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved 717 million dollars in grant funding to provide Ohioans with extra unemployment benefits.

Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted says the money comes through the Lost Wages Assistance Program:

The money replaces the 600 dollar benefit Congress failed to renew in July.  Husted did not give a time table on when the money will be distributed.
