The grace period for expired driver's licenses, ID cards, and vehicle registrations is being extended until July 1st, 2021. The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles says a new law adds time to the state's COVID-19 exemption that avoids fines and tickets for tags, IDs, and registrations that expire between March 9th of this year and April 1st, 2021. The BMV is currently allowing vehicle registrations online, but new licenses or ID cards must be renewed in person.
