State health officials Sunday reported 4,481 new cases of COVID-19 and 31 new deaths. The state now has over 864 thousand cases and 10,711 deaths. Officials say just over five percent of Ohio's population has been vaccinated. State authorities over the weekend cited three Ohio bars for violating COVID-19 health restrictions. The Ohio Investigative Unit says operators of Captn' Morgans in Zanesville and Frosty Mug Sports in Marion failed to enforce face mask and social distancing restrictions. Operators of Pegasus Pub in Akron allegedly vioilated the 10 p.m. alcohol curfew and social distancing guidelines.
