Dublin City Council Monday tabled indefinitely an ordinance restricting short-term rentals.
Several residents spoke against the ordinance, including people involved with rentals such as Airbnb. But others who spoke said the rentals create noise and traffic problems. The measure requires hosts to obtain an annual permit and allows them to rent a home for up to 14 days. It also requires hosts to file paperwork with the city detailing each rental.
