Franklin County Coroner Reports Overdose Death Spike

The Franklin County Coroner's Office reports says a surge in overdose deaths this week. 

Officials say there were five overdose fatalities between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. The coroner's report says the overdoses occured in the  43123, 43206, 43229, 43211, and 43214 area codes. Toxicology tests are underway to determine if the deaths  are fentanyl-related.
