Indoor Football League Plans Expansion Franchise For Columbus

wikipedia.org

Less than two months after the Arena Football League shut down, indoor football is returning to Columbus.

The Indoor Football League plans an expansion team in 2021.  No name has been selected, but former Ohio State wide receiver Bobby Olive will be the coach. The team will be owned by Columbus car dealership group owner Steve Germain and his family

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
