Ohio's Unemployment Rate For March Is Down From February

State officials say Ohio's unemployment rate for March was 4.4 percent, down two-tenths of a point from February. 

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says today non-farm payrolls increased by 63 hundred to nearly 5.6 million. The state had 258 thousand unemployed workers in March, down 7 thousand from February. Ohio gained jobs in sectors including contruction, educational and health services leisure and hospitality. and business services. Ohio lost jobs in manufacturing and local government.  The U.S. unemployment rate for March was 3.8 percent.
