The Ohio Highway Patrol says 13 people died in traffic crashes during the Christmas weekend and four more died during the New Year's holiday period. The agency says 11 people were killed during last year's New Year's holiday period. Overall, the state had about one-thousand-eighty traffic fatalities in 2016.
