OSU Medical Facility Planned For Upper Arlington

Ohio State University plans to bring a medical center to Upper Arlington.

A branch of the Wexner Medical Center would be built in the Kingsdale Shopping Center along Zollinger Road.  The $20 million facility would specialize in primary care, women's health and heart care among others. It's expected to employ 155 people, and officials say additional jobs will be created as the number of patients increase and more services are added. Final terms of the agreement will be negotiated over the next couple months. Officials expect the medical center to open late next year or in early 2016.
