Pike County Sheriff Pleads Not Guilty To Corruption Charges

Pike County Sheriff Charles Reader pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a 16 count indictment alleging theft in office and evidence-tampering for stealing money seized in drug cases and accepting thousand of dollars in loans from county employees and vendors. 

Reader will remain free on bond. Reader says has no plans to step down and will fight any attempts to force him out.
