Reynoldsburg Working On Civilian Review Board

Facebook

Reynoldsburg city officials and the local police union have reached an agreement in principle to create a civilian review board to oversee police.

The proposed nine-member panel will tackle cases of discrimination and use-of-force incidents. The panel will include one person from each from the city’s four wards, two from minority communities, a practicing attorney, someone with a background in human resources and someone with a law enforcement background.

Officials plan to consider a finalized version in September.
