WCBE's 106.3 FM transmitter in Newark will begin to have repair work done next week. Our engineer has discovered that a critical component of the transmiter, the translater, underwent heavy damange recently, and needs to be replaced. Repair work will begin on Tuesday, February 12th.
WCBE's 106.3 FM transmitter went down over the weekend. After a survey of the transmitter site, our engineer discovered extensive damage to the transmitter. We are currently working on a solution to get the signal up and running on the air as soon as we can. We apologize for the inconvience, and thank you for your patience.
Meanwhile, you can always stream our signal online at wcbe.org, or via TuneIn Radio and Apple Music.
We will send notifications as we make progress.
