Several biographies have been written about Dorothy Dandridge including Dorothy Dandridge: A Biography by Donald Bogle (2021); Everything and Nothing: The Dorothy Dandridge Tragedy by Dorothy Dandridge and Earl Conrad (1970); and Dorothy Dandridge: The Life and Legacy of One of Hollywood's First Successful Black Actresses by Charles River Editors (2020).
