Kridler Calls His Crew SC Stadium Proposal A Mistake

Columbus Foundation president Doug Kridler says the downtown-area parking lot owned by Abbott Labs is no longer a possible site for a new Columbus Crew SC stadium. Kridler says Abbbot wants to keep the lot for its own purposes. Kridler also says in a statement his stadium plan was crafted the heat of emotion over the weekend,  and he calls it a mistake. City leaders have not commented on the proposal, and Franklin County Commissioners have said sales tax money will not be used to build a stadium.
