Ohio State University President Michael Drake says the school has formed a task force to improve parking garage safety and examine mental health resources for students after two people jumped or fell from the Ohio Union South parking garage over the last week.
The task force is expected to issue recommendations within the next two months. 35-year-old former student Kelly Dinlinger is hospitalized in critical condition after falling from the garage Sunday. 19-year-old student Daniel Birdsall died after falling last Thursday night. It's not clear if the falls were accidental or intentional.
