Columbus Folk Music Society presents: "Mustard's Retreat" LIVE in concert 3/25
Folk Duo Brings Harmonies and Storytelling Through Song to Next Clintonville Concert
Uplifting and entertaining acoustic folk music will fill the air Saturday March 25, as Mustard’s Retreat takes the stage at the latest monthly concert sponsored by the Columbus Folk Music Society. The show takes place at the Columbus Mennonite Church, 35 Oakland Park Avenue.
Formed in 1975, Mustard’s Retreat has at times been a trio over the years. Now a duo (Libby Glover and David Tamulevich), this band has, since its inception, played over 6000 shows and traveled more than a million miles. Libby and David’s concerts feature stories and original songs, sweet vocal harmonies, and fine guitar picking and strumming that will leave you wanting more.
Mustard’s Retreat take the stage at 8 p.m.
But come earlier for other activities:
At 6:00, an informal folk music jam will be held where you can listen OR participate!
At 7:00, the coffeehouse will feature an open mic segment for 3 different folkie acts.
At 7:45 p.m. as a warm-up for the main concert, the audience will join in a folk music sing-along that always sparks a warm feeling of community.
A donation of $15 at the door is suggested, $10 for CFMS members.
