Experience Blooms & Butterflies in the Pacific Island Water Garden, where hundreds of exotic butterflies glide through bright nectar flowers. As you wander the garden, you’ll see butterflies feeding, resting, and gliding through the air in an ever-changing display of color and movement. Don’t miss the Metamorphosis Lab, where you can watch butterflies take their very first flight as they emerge from their chrysalises throughout the day.

A dazzling celebration of spring! More than 140,000 tulips, daffodils, and pansies throughout the gardens and container displays combine with stars of the botanical garden. Magnolias, lilacs, cherries, viburnum, and thousands of perennials bring an exciting burst of scents and colors after a long winter slumber.

Plants bloom throughout the season starting in March and continuing through the following months.

Some of the coolest riders and sharpest bikes in the city roll into Our Haus on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from April through September — and we love hosting the crew.

Ride in, hang out, and enjoy the energy of Euro Bike Night.

We have step-by-step paintsheets that walk you through the process of re-creating many of our samples. Did you know that working with clay can improve focus and reduce stress? 🌿✨ Don't miss this chance to mold, shape, and create something amazing! Your $10.00 RSVP reserves your spot in this DIY clay workshop and will be credited towards your purchase. When you get to the studio, you will receive a pound of clay ($35) and we will explain and show examples of several techniques. Once your clay items dry we will fire your piece(s) the first time, (takes about 2- 3 weeks). You will get an email to let you know your clay items are ready for you to come in and paint! We will then fire your items again and e-mail you when they are ready for pick up. Bring your favorite beverage and snacks!

Adult Writers’ Studio is a welcoming and creative community of writers 18+ who gather to share and discuss their writing, participate in generative exercises, provide/receive feedback about each other’s work, engage in topical discussions, and support each other through peer motivation and kind, constructive criticism. Led by writer and facilitator Diane Callahan, Adult Writers’ Studio: Elevate Your Writing meets in-person every other Tuesday at Thurber Center.

All aboard! The Paul Busse Garden Railway is arriving at the Conservatory station.

Guests can journey with the trains through a miniature world of 51 botanical models made from all-natural plant material. Special elements to add to your itinerary include an enchanted tree hollow, two waterfalls, a bubbling brook and plantings specific to each themed destination.
