Benefit concert for At Home By High, featuring Lydia Loveless, The Blue Jays Jazz and Funk Band, and The Worst Acoustic Trio.
Country-punk artist, Lydia Loveless is an indie singer/songwriter whose music makes room for contemporary pop influences and roots music without betraying their fearless personal lyrical stance. Often described as twang with teeth, Loveless has been featured everywhere from NPR to Rolling Stone to SXSW. The Blue Jays are well known at Natalie’s and in the Columbus jazz scene. The band plays a wide array of genres including jazz, funk, pop, R&B, and soul. The Worst Acoustic Trio is a Columbus (and Grandview) local band playing original folk, rock, country, as well as a mashup of all three. They are among the top 15 best 4-piece trios in Central Ohio.
At Home By High serves older adults ages 50+ in the Short North, Weinland Park, and Milo Grogan with practical help around the house, transportation, and socialization opportunities, among other things. All proceeds will benefit this worthy organization as it seeks to help keep aging adults in their homes.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased through the website or in person at Natalie's. All tickets are table or bar seated. The full kitchen and bar will be open during the show.
