Fall evenings during Pumpkins Aglow offer bewitching scenes and spooky surprises. These family-friendly events occur 5-9pm Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays and 5-10pm Fridays & Saturdays during October 7-11, 14-18, 21-25 & 28-Nov 1

Discover more than 700 hand-carved pumpkins glowing throughout themed displays—pirates, creepy crawly spiders, under the sea mermaids, and even aliens landing among the leaves. Each pumpkin is creatively carved by our talented Conservatory staff, volunteers and members. Wander, wonder, and don’t miss a photo at the iconic pumpkin house!

A variety of nightly food trucks, beer/wine/dessert/hot items from the Garden Café and the Watershed Bar will be open.

🌊 Dive into the mesmerizing world of Fluid Art at Brush Crazy! Did you know that fluid art uses various techniques like acrylic pouring to create stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces? 🎨💧 Unleash your inner artist and let the colors flow! 🌈Your $10.00 RSVP will be credited toward your in-studio purchase, items range from $20 to $100+, where you will get your choice of 5 colors. All aboard! The Paul Busse Garden Railway is arriving at Conservatory station.

9 G scale model trains travel across 1,122 feet of track that runs high and low through themed destinations: Fairytale Land, Wild West Town, European Travels and the animal-centric Who Lives Here.

Guests can journey with the trains through a miniature world of 51 botanical models made from all-natural plant material. Special elements to add to your itinerary include an enchanted tree hollow, two waterfalls, a bubbling brook and plantings specific to each themed destination.

Come in and get a little Brush Crazy! Harvest Moon is our featured painting. We have step by step instructions, with pictures and words for you to follow along as you customize your very own art project! OR you can always pick something else to paint! Work at your own pace. The paint sheets show you every step along the way, from start to finish! We help you to complete your masterpiece all on your own, but there is always an extra artist on hand for assistance when needed. Bring your favorite beverages and food! Community Day is the first Sunday of every month. Residents of Columbus and Franklin County receive free General Admission. Identification is required. Community Days include access to the entirety of our gardens and collections and current daytime exhibitions. Admission to Special Engagements (Chihuly Nights, Pumpkins Aglow, Conservatory Aglow) is not included.
