Former Buckeye Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges

Former Ohio State wide receiver Ray Small is scheduled for sentencing April 3rd after pleading guilty Monday in Columbus to drug trafficking charges. Small was indicted in July, three months after Columbus police found heroin, prescription pain killers and anti- anxiety pills during a search of his apartment. The 26-year-old also faces drug trafficking charges in Meigs County. Small is one of several players involved in the football memorabilia scandal that led to the forced resignation of OSU head coach Jim Tressel.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
