Ohio authorities have completed additional investigation at a Beavercreek store where while police officers fatally shot an african-american man holding an air rifle.
The Ohio Attorney General's Office confirms that state investigators returned to the Beavercreek store this morning to gather additional information and reconstruct the shooting of 22-year-old John Crawford III. Crawford was killed by police August 5th. A 911 caller told police that Crawford was waving a weapon inside the store. A special prosecutor will convene a grand jury on September 22nd to hear evidence in the case and determine if charges are warranted. Crawford's supporters call the shooting unjustified and want an investigation into whether race factored into the shooting.
