More Ohio Communities Vote To Curb Corporate Political Power

Voters in Mentor and Chagrin Falls on Tuesday overwhelmingly approved ordinances calling on Congress to enact a constitutional amendment declaring corporations are not people and money does not equate to free speech. The measures come in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court's Citizens United ruling. Becky Thomas organized the ballot initiative in Chagrin Falls.

Dave Lima helped organized the measure in Mentor. He says 90 percent of the candidates who have the most corporate money win elections.
