nbcnews.com

Columbus police have yet to release the identity of the knife-wielding local man shot and killed by two officers at Port Columbus Wednesday afternoon. Columbus Police Sergeant Rich Weiner told reporters officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle parked illegally in a restricted area outside the terminal at the same time airline staff inside were turning away the man who tried to purchase a ticket using a woman's ID.

Weiner says police do not know why the man was trying to buy a ticket but says there is no indication that terrorism was involved.
