The Republican National Committee has finalized the dates for the 2016 convention in Cleveland. The event will be held from July 18 to 21. Committee chair Reince Priebus says the event will be held more than a month before the GOP traditionally hosts its national convention, giving the next Republican presidential nominee a fundraising advantage in the general election. More than a dozen high-profile Republicans are weighing presidential bids.
