The Central Ohio Transit Authority says bus ridership increased by 3 percent last year. 19.3 million bus trips were reported in 2014, up by more than 550 thousand from the previous year and a 28-year high. COTA credits expanded routes, more operating hours and improvements to passenger amenities.
