Surgeon General Urges Measles Vaccinations During Ohio Visit
The U.S. Surgeon General is urging central Ohio parents to vaccinate their kids. Vivek Murthy stopped in Columbus yesterday to meet with health officials about several issues, including the current measles outbreak. There are more than 10 dozen cases in 17 states this year.
Murthy says unvaccinated people have a 90 percent chance of contracting measles. He also visited a few other Ohio cities yesterday.
