CDC: More Ohio Kids Getting MMR On Time

The Centers for Disease Control says more Ohio kids are getting the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine on time. Nearly 96 percent of children between 19 and 35 months of age got at least one dose last year, up from 86 percent the previous year. The national rate is 92 percent. State health officials credits higher public awareness thanks to recent multiple measles outbreaks in Ohio.  The CDC also says Ohio outpaces the national average on most childhood vaccinations.
