Toxic Algae Found In Ponds At Two Columbus Parks

columbus.gov

The Columbus Recreation and Parks Department says toxic algae blooms have been found in the ponds at Krumm and Schiller Parks. The Krumm Park pond is closed, and officials are warning dog owners to keep their animals out of the water at Schiller Park. Officials say the blooms were likely caused by animal droppings. The city is working with two companies to clean the ponds.
