More Problems With Drinking Water From Hoover Reservoir

columbus.gov

Some residents on Columbus' north side are complaining about foul smelling and tasting tap water. Columbus Department of Public Utilities officials blame algae in Hoover Reservoir.  The city is treating the water to reduce the smell and taste. Temperature changes that stirred up algae and organic minerals in the water in Hoover Reservoir caused a similar problem in late 2013.
