Jury Rejects Former County Jail Inmate's Lawsuit

A federal grand jury has ruled in favor of Franklin County and several officials in a lawsuit filed by a former county jail inmate. The jury rejected Robert Krutko's claim that deputies left him covered in feces for five days after a toilet in his cell overflowed in 2009. Jail records show no evidence of a plumbing problem and the deputies who testified said they had no contact with Krutko.
