SUPCO Rejects Challenge Of JobsOhio

The Ohio Supreme Court has rejected another legal challenge to JobsOhio, the state's privatized job-creation agency, saying the plaintiff lacks standing to sue. The justices affirmed a lower court's ruling against former ProgressOhio attorney Victoria Ullmann. They say many of her arguments were aired, and rejected, in the progressive policy group's earlier case. Opponents have alleged the way JobsOhio handles public money is unconstitutional. No case has gotten past the standing issue.
