Owner Of Bridal Shop Caught In Ebola Scare Sues Texas Hospital
The owner of an Akron bridal shop that closed after an Ebola scare has sued Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, saying it failed to train and prevent a nurse from contracting the virus from a patient. Amber Vinson visited the shop in 2014 and tried on a wedding dress. She was diagnosed with Ebola when she returned to Texas. The shop, Coming Attractions Bridal & Formal in Akron, closed for good in early 2015. Shop owner Anna Younker accuses the hospital of negligence. The facility's owners say there is no factual or legal basis for the suit.
