More than 70 people protesting President Donald Trump's ban on immigrants and refugees from seven Muslim-majority nations were arrested at the Ohio University student union building last night. The university says the protesters refused to leave a sit-in. The group calling itself the Ohio University Student Union said protesters would stay until the school met its demand to become a sanctuary campus. Those arrested are charged with criminal trespassing. Meanwhile, the immigration ban is making activists out of teenagers in Columbus and suburban Toledo. Teens from Columbus Alternative High School and Sylvania High School held protest rallies yesterday, saying they wanted to show love and support for people affected by the ban. Organizers say they wanted to promote unity over divisive politics.
