The Dayton man convicted of killing his pastor brother in a church office last year has been sentenced to 31 years to life in prison. 69-year-old Daniel Schooler killed 70-year-old Reverend William Schooler in February 2016. Daniel Schooler said he went to the church to discuss a lawsuit about an inheritance, and he shot his brother Schooler in self-defense. Prosecutors say he went to the church because he was angry.
