The white Beavercreek police officer who shot and killed a black man is back on full duty. Police officials have reinstated Sean Williams, nearly three years after he shot and killed John Crawford III inside of a store while the victim was holding a pellet gun . Williams was cleared last week of federal charges, but still faces a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the Crawford family.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
