Sentencing Date Changed For Columbus Terrorism Suspect

Franklin County Sheriff's Office

A federal judge has set a new sentencing date for the Columbus man who admitted he plotted to kill military members. Abdirahman Sheik Mohamud will be sentenced on December 1st. The judge in August delayed the sentencing to gather more information. Since then, the judge has asked about underlying psychological factors that led to the plot and about possible treatment programs.
