Judge Rejects Former CCS Sub's Bid To Dismiss Her Jail Sentence

A Franklin County judge has refused to dismiss the 90-day sentence for a former Columbus City Schools substitute teacher convicted for showing a movie containing sexual images and violence to Spanish-language students at East High School. 61-year-old Sheila Kearns was sentenced in March 2015. Kearns was allowed to defer her sentence as she appealed.
