Columbus Airports Saw More Passenger And Cargo Traffic Last Year

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority reports more people used the Glenn and Rickenbacker airports last year.

7.8 million passengers used the two facilities last year. The authority credits new offerings by low-cost air carriers. Officials also say cargo activity at Rickenbacker Airport rose by nearly 27 percent last year to a record 225 million pounds. The authority says most of the increase came from international cargo.
